FRONT & BACKYARD TRANSFORMATION
We had the pleasure of working with the Burke’s and all parties are thrilled with the outcome of this project. After interviewing several landscape design/build firms, they ultimately decided to work with Deep Rooted Designs.
They wanted a landscape that was very low maintenance, kid & dog friendly, and wanted the ability to entertain large groups. From concept to completion, our team designed and built a complete outdoor kitchen for the ultimate outdoor entertaining space. As you can see from the photos, the outdoor kitchen is very clean and open, perfect for cooking and socializing with guests. The outdoor entertaining space included:

Outdoor Sink & Refrigerator
Outdoor disposal unit
Ample storage with high-end stainless steel drawers
Outdoor custom bar
We added a full outdoor kitchen that has everything. Built in grill, sink, outdoor refrigerator, trash, and plenty of storage in our high end stainless steel drawers. We also designed and installed a bar on one side of the countertop. It’s a great place to have people over and entertain while cooking.
Additionally, we installed a beautiful herringbone patterned patio and a fire-pit to complement our San Diego nights. We installed large plank porcelain tile in their California room. Our design team also assisted our clients in choosing furniture from Restoration Hardware that would match their space perfectly.
In regards to the landscaping itself, our team installed:
Water-wise and drought tolerant landscaping
Synthetic turf (perfect for pets and kids)
New hardscaping for the frontyard
Track lighting for the front yard to boost curb appeal + for safety at night
Landscape lighting to illuminate the fruitless olive trees at night
A new driveway using large pavers outlined in decorative stone (concrete finish is Top-Cast)
