Berryman Canyon Road, Encinitas San Diego

We love a clean slate, and Berryman Canyon Road was the epitome of a fresh start. We complemented a newly built home with a full outdoor design with elements for the whole family! The site is long and narrow, so we created a linear living space that ensured there was plenty of connection between lounging, cooking, and soccer playing. 

The homeowners wanted to enjoy their Encinitas home as much as possible, so we incorporated an open seating area around a firepit, underneath warm string lights, as well as a custom BBQ with plenty of storage for the main entertaining area. Further along in the backyard we built a rich mangaris outdoor shower, to rinse off from those morning surf sessions, and a turf area for soccer practice and neighborhood movie nights.

• Planted the existing swale in backyard, to blend it in with the landscaping

• Custom mangaris wood benches for seating area 

• BBQ counter with smooth concrete countertop and internal storage

• Poured in place modern concrete pavers
